BlackGirlMagic Free99 Photoshoot at Rockford Park – Image by Gee Johnson of Strictly G Shots

Recently this past Sunday dozens of women of color came together to celebrate #BlackGirlMagicDE[1] Originally started back in 2016 as a means to connect the women of color here in Delaware with one another to provide support, guidance and promote overall sisterhood. Founders Vanity Constance[2] and Kristen Yoga[3] are two young sisters who truly believe it takes a village.

This past free99 photoshoot was held at Rockford Park[4] at the tower, several local photographers came out and donated their time to document the event. After the event, everyone came over to the new Jamaica Restaurant Bull Bay[5] where they had a DJ and several vendors.

You can view the images here on their official Facebook page[6] as well as their Instagram[7].
