Healthy Breakfast Smoothies

A few weeks ago one of my good friends asked me for some smoothie recipes that wouldn’t leave her hungry an hour after she drank it…I feel her pain! I mean, I feel so good after I drink a smoothie in the morning…like I’m on the right track…ya know? But I sure as heck get super hungry so fast! So I came up with a fix…OATMEAL! It’s just enough to fill the tummy and keep you from reaching for donuts at the office :)

 

Healthy Breakfast Smoothies Made 3 Ways

Delicious, healthy breakfast smoothies are the perfect meal on the go for busy mornings.
Ingredients
  • Banana Bread Smoothie
  • ½ cup non dairy milk
  • ½ cup vanilla greek yogurt
  • 2 tbsp chopped walnuts (optional)
  • 1 banana
  • ¼ cup oats
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • ½ tsp nutmeg
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • ice to preference
  • Pumpkin Pie Smoothie
  • ½ cup pumpkin puree
  • ¼ cup oats
  • 1 banana
  • 1 cup non dairy milk
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp pumpkin spice
  • ½ cup vanilla greek yogurt
  • ice to preference
  • Blueberry Muffin Smoothie
  • ½ cup non dairy milk
  • ½ cup vanilla greek yogurt
  • ½ cup frozen blueberries
  • ½ banana
  • ¼ cup oats
  • 1tsp lemon zest
  • 1 tsp honey
  • ice to preference
Instructions
  1. For all of these delicious smoothies simply add all of the ingredients into your blender and blend at an ice crushing speed for about 30 to 40 seconds.
  2. Pour and enjoy
