Wings & Waffles is a day party experience targeting young professionals working and living in the City of Wilmington and surrounding areas. Over 60 attendees dined on delicious cuisine, sipped drinks from the bottomless mimosa bar, enjoyed good music and had the opportunity to network and socialize in a lively atmosphere. National Urban League Young Professionals Regional Vice President Jemar Ward, came down from New York City to show his support for MWULYP.

“As we look to grow the City of Wilmington, we must think of the younger generations as they are our future,” said Mayor Dennis P. Williams. “We have to support initiatives and events that work to attract young professionals to Wilmington. They energize the city’s social and nightlife activity in downtown and the Riverfront, so we should put forth our best effort to keep them engaged.”
