Wilmington – Another awesome Wilmo Wednesdays featuring Fuss, comedian Foul Mouth Al, Minerva, The Acoustic Jam, Parental Guidance and Stone baby, Who closed out the night at World Cafe Live at The Queen in downtown Wilmington.

Wilmo Wednesdays is a weekly event curated by Gable Music Ventures that takes place at World Cafe Live at the Queen on Wednesday evenings from 7pm-10pm. Multiple genres of music, comedy, and networking opportunities for the low cost of zero dollars.

The band Parental Guidance, who’s band members include Justin Fisher, Zoe Collins, Jesse Morgan and Garrett LaCurts capture my attention when the lead singer, University of Delaware freshman Zoe Collins began to sing the Jefferson Airplane classic, White Rabbit, from the 1967 Surrealistic Pillow album. I said to myself, WOW! She sounds like Grace Slick, Be it as it may; strangely enough, Collins voice also sounds like Janis Joplin. How is that possible?

“I get that a lot actually, Whenever we play a set and we haven’t played Janis Joplin, we’ll get a request for Joplin” Said Collins.
