PHILADELPHIA, PA – DECEMBER 14, 2015 – The Philadelphia 76ers announced today that they have recalled forward Christian Wood from the Delaware 87ers of the NBA Development League. During his assignment, Wood appeared in three games for Delaware and averaged 19.3 points and 11.0 rebounds in 30.2 minutes per game.

Philadelphia leads Chicago 56-51 at halftime in Chicago, Christian Wood hass 2 points off the bench.

Nerlens Noel (corneal abrasion) is not expected to play on Wednesday vs. the Hawks.

“It’s very concerning that the 76ers anticipate being without Noel on Wednesday, so the injury does sound pretty serious. Noel checked into a hospital after Sunday’s game, but the 76ers haven’t issued a timetable yet. Rican Holmes will start in Noel’s place, but Jerami Grant should play more as well”.
