Delores Nelson (Mother), Leonette Davis-Collins (Daughter), and Christopher Davis (Son) are a New Castle, Delaware family that was affected by COVID. Since the virus came about, they are ones who stuck to all of the precautions such as wearing masks, social distancing, cleaning areas with Clorox wipes, sanitizing, and washing their hands. Only absolute necessary trips were made to the grocery store or any other store for necessities. During an extremely small gathering, they were unintentionally affected. As the days passed, medical issues began to appear and they tested positive. During their quarantine process, respiratory problems started to become unbearable. Over a period of approximately 5-7 days, each ended up seeking medical attention. Christopher was first and was hospitalized, followed by Leonette and not many days hence, (Mom) Delores. Because of the seriousness of this disease, COVID patients were being placed in single rooms, however, Leonette requested for her mother to be able to room with her, and favor was granted by the doctors to do so. They were in the hospital collectively a little over 10 days. For those of you who continue to say this virus is not real and refuse to follow precautions, IT IS REAL!! This family (TRIO) LIVED IT and SURVIVED IT!!!!!
