The Warehouse Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting

(WILMINGTON, DE. – August 2, 2021, through August 5, 2021)

The Warehouse, a service partner of The WRK Group, (The Warehouse, REACH Riverside, and Kingswood
Community Center) is pleased to announce its official grand opening and ribbon cutting.

The Warehouse construction was originally completed in spring 2020 but with the onset of COVID-19 and its
ensuing restrictions, The Warehouse has not been able to celebrate this milestone in revolutionizing teen
engagement. Now that COVID-19 restrictions have been lifted, The Warehouse is eager to celebrate the creation of
its amazing facility that was created, For Teens, By Teens.

At The Warehouse, we see our teens in action and know they want more. All they need is an opportunity,
support, and a community that believes in them. Our staff and network of local youth-serving organizations
are committed to working in partnership with Wilmington teens to provide them with high-quality and
relevant academic, employment, and life experiences, to prepare them for their next steps in life.

The Warehouse was developed to create an innovative, one-stop center serving ages 13 through 19.
To celebrate this new addition to the Riverside community, The Warehouse will host a weeklong celebration
that culminates in a ribbon-cutting event on August 5, 2021, at 3:30 p.m. at The Warehouse (1121 Thatcher
Street). Between Monday, August 2nd and Wednesday, August 4th The Warehouse is opening its doors to the
teen public with an open house featuring a variety of activities and service partners.
