In the latest live episode of Good Morning Delaware, hosts Ivan Thomas and Vincenza Carrieri-Russo delivered an inspiring, flavor-filled show celebrating leadership, culture, and community across the First State.

The morning kicked off with incredible young changemakers from the Boys & Girls Clubs of Delaware.
We were honored to welcome:

  • Temia Holloway, Lifetime Youth Volunteer

  • Seth Cottom, New Castle County Teen Director

  • Brandon Rogers, 2025 State Youth Winner

Each guest shared their powerful stories of mentorship, growth, and the impact of community engagement on today’s youth. From volunteer service to statewide recognition, these leaders are shaping Delaware’s future in real time.

👑 Next, we were joined by none other than Tetra S. Shockley, Esq., the newly crowned 2025 Miss Delaware USA. With grace and purpose, Tetra discussed her journey to the crown, her platform for change, and what it means to represent Delaware on the national stage. As a role model and attorney, she’s amplifying the voices of women and communities of color with style and strength.

🎨 Plus, Andrew Truscott from the Delaware Division of the Arts highlights cultural engagement across the state,

Mr. Adedunton Adepojo from Suya House African Grill, sharing the rich flavors and heritage behind this standout African restaurant.

It’s a celebration of youth, culture, leadership, and community—don’t miss it!
