DETV’s own chef Reuben Dhanawade has made his way to national television as a contestant on the food network’s special edition of Chopped, “Desperately Seeking Sous Chef”.
The show’s first episode aired this week and Chef Ruben won! He is now headed to the finale. We couldn’t be prouder of chef Reuben!
Kellie Igo, producer of Ruben’s Indian Kitchen, said, “Watching him grow this past year has been exciting. If you did watch last night, you may see a familiar recipe today on Reuben’s Indian Kitchen. He made Kheer, an Indian Rice Pudding Topped with fresh Oranges and Apples.”
Born in India, Reuben was inspired by his mother and grandmother’s cooking. This led his career to many different states and now Reuben host Reuben’s Indian Kitchen right here on DETV.
