The Agenda S2 Ep3 Minimum Wage

DETV Presents: The Agenda

Before this year’s Legislative Session ended in June, Senate Bill 15 was signed into law, raising the minimum wage in Delaware from $9.25 to $15 an hour over the course of 5 years.

We take a deep dive into what this means for low-income families in the state and is the minimum wage a living wage in 2021?

We talk to bill sponsor, Senator Jack Walsh, as well as, Representative Jeffery Spiegelman, DOL Secretary Karryl Hubbard, DE Restaurant Association president and CEO Carrie Leishman, and The Comic Book Shop owner Sarah Titus.

Tune in every Thursday at 6:30 pm for new episodes!
