Delaware State Police Investigate Armed Carjacking at Wawa

The Delaware State Police are investigating an armed carjacking that occurred early this morning at a Wawa in New Castle.

At approximately 2:18 a.m. on July 3, 2024, an unknown black male suspect approached a 25-year-old victim in the parking lot at 117 South Dupont Highway, showed a firearm, and demanded the victim’s car keys. The suspect fled in the stolen Honda Accord towards State Route 273.
