DETV to Stream NASA Artemis II Launch Live with Expert Commentary
Join DETV for live coverage of NASA’s historic Artemis II launch, the first crewed mission in the Artemis program and NASA’s next step toward returning humans to the Moon.
Hosted by Dr. Joi Spraggins, founder and CEO of Legacy Bridges STEM Academy, this special livestream will feature insight, commentary, and conversation throughout the launch. Joining Dr. Spraggins is special guest Ernest D. Levert Sr., retired Lockheed Martin Fellow and aerospace engineering expert whose work has supported the Orion Launch Abort System, the International Space Station, the Space Shuttle Main Engine, and numerous advanced space and defense programs.
Presented in partnership with Legacy Bridges STEM Academy, the organization is dedicated to inspiring the next generation of STEM leaders through hands on learning, mentorship, and career pathways. The Academy offers programs tied directly to NASA mission directorates, NASA GLOBE, NASA ASTRO Camp, and its Global STEM Scholars Mentorship Program, helping students prepare for careers in science, technology, engineering, and space exploration.
Dr. Spraggins brings more than 25 years of leadership experience in STEM, workforce development, and education. Through Legacy Bridges STEM Academy, she has become a leading voice in preparing young people for the future of aerospace, energy, and technology.
