Divine Nine Unites for Kamala Harris: Delaware Chapters Lead the Charge | Her Perspective Ep. 6

WILMINGTON, Del. — As Kamala Harris’s candidacy gains momentum, the Divine Nine—a coalition of historically Black Greek-letter organizations—has emerged as a powerful force in mobilizing voters nationwide. Harris, herself a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., has consistently highlighted the importance of these organizations in shaping the political landscape. Inspired by the efforts seen across the nation, the Delaware chapters of the Divine Nine are uniting to amplify this movement within their communities.

During this election season, the Divine Nine’s mission is clear: to increase voter registration, educate the public on critical issues, and develop strategies to ensure that every voice is heard at the polls. This collaborative effort is not only about participation but about empowerment—ensuring that every vote contributes to the country’s future direction.

In a recent episode that delves into Harris’s candidacy and the Divine Nine’s role, leaders from Delaware’s chapters of Alpha Kappa Alpha, Delta Sigma Theta, Zeta Phi Beta, and Sigma Gamma Rho shared their insights on mobilizing voters and breaking down barriers to participation.
