Is This Year The Eagles Year??

There has been a lot of buzz and news surrounding the Philadelphia Eagles lately. Some calling the new Eagles an “All Star Team” (cough cough Miles Sanders) others saying that the Eagles are the team to beat in the NFC East.
ESPN recently ranked all 32 NFL rosters using the PFF database and grading system, and Philadelphia landed just outside the top five at No. 7 on the list.
Pro Football Focus has ranked Philadelphia high in many of their offseason rankings recently. Philadelphia has the best offensive line in the NFL, along with a top 5 wide receiving corps, a top 5 tight end, and a running back trio that can leave opposing defenses gasping for air on any given Sunday.
On defense, Jonathan Gannon finally has the weapons he needs after the Eagles landed Haason Reddick, Kyzir White, Jordan Davis, Nakobe Dean, Kyron Johnson, and Jaquiski Tartt during free agency and the NFL draft. Also landing James Bradberry to go along with Darius Slay has hopefully solidified the Eagles cornerback positions. The Eagles haven’t had solid corners like this since Lito Sheppard and Sheldon Brown, and maybe since the best cornerback pairing that this team has had since Troy Vincent and Bobby Taylor.
The Eagles do have a talented roster that could definitely make some noise in the NFL, but I think some Eagles fans need to pump the breaks before we all end up disappointed. Because all Philly fans know we pump teams up all the time then we end up being heart broken by them at the end of season. As fans, this season we should have the same mindset as the 2017-2018 season. Where we had low expectations for the team then out of nowhere, they improve and make a run to the Superbowl and win it.
So, Eagles fans yes, we have a good team on paper, and it seems like everybody is getting along great, but pump the breaks on the hype train before we all end up hurt and in our feelings like years past.
