NO FIREFLY FESTIVAL IN 2024
Thousands of Delaware music lovers will be disappointed to learn that the highly successful Firefly music festival will not be returning this year as promised.
Organizers announced today the festival would not be coming back to Dover in 20.24. The festival was canceled in 20.20 because of the COVID pandemic and was not held in 20.23. At the time, organizers said the party that draws an estimated 40 thousand people would be back this year. As of noon Thursday, the website was updated to read that the festival would be back on someday when the timing is right.
All is not lost, however, as promoters say music events are still planned at the site. The mondegreen festival, featuring the band phish is currently scheduled from august 15 through the 18th at the woodlands.
