Coachella 2022 : 3 Artist Who Should Be On Your Bucket List!!
One of the biggest music festivals of the year is happening this year and that is Coachella. There has been quite the controversy recently over the lineup with one man in particular that man is no one other than Kanye West.
Recently Kanye West dropped out of Coachella, in a USAToday article stated that “Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, has pulled out of the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, according to reports from the Los Angeles Times and Billboard.
TMZ first reported on Monday that Ye decided to pull out of his headlining performances on April 17 and 24.
Representatives for Ye and festival promoter Goldenvoice did not immediately respond to inquiries from The Desert Sun, part of the USA TODAY network.”
With news of Kayne dropping out tickets sales went down. In a Washington Times article it said, “Secondary ticket broker TickPick reports that the average purchase price for a three-day pass to Coachella went from $685 before the Kanye news to just $465 after — a 32% decrease.”

Even though Kanye West aka Ye did drop out there are still some amazing artists performing this weekend, that you should see if you are there or even viewing at home. This list is all my opinion and a little biased so take it with a grain of salt.
The first person is my personal favorite and if I was going, I would be right at the rail to see her that is Snoh Aalegra.
Snoh Aalegra, is a Swedish singer and songwriter based in Los Angeles. Her debut album Feels was released in 2017, followed by Ugh, Those Feels Again in 2019. Then in 2021, she released Temporary High In The Violet Skies.
I recently saw her in Philadelphia and it was probably my favorite concert I’ve ever been to. I was front and centered on the rail and it was an unbelieve experience. The lights, band, her voice, the crowd, & the performance was just phenomenal.
One song you should listen to and Snoh recently said is her favorite song to perform on tour is “IN YOUR EYES”.
The second person I have on my must-see list is Baby Keem.
Baby Keem, is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, and record producer from Las Vegas, Nevada. He initially gained major recognition following the release of his single “Orange Soda”, from his second mixtape Die for My B**** (2019). He would later collaborate with Kanye West on the song “Praise God”, which reached the top 20 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart.

His debut studio album The Melodic Blue, was issued in September 2021 by Columbia Records and pgLang. The album debuted at number five on the Billboard 200 chart. The single “Family Ties” featuring his cousin Kendrick Lamar, became his second top 20 on the Billboard Hot 100, and received the Grammy Award for Best Rap Performance. The album also included the songs “Durag Activity” alongside Travis Scott, and “Range Brothers” with Lamar.
I saw Baby Keem as well at a show in Philadelphia at the Theater of The Living Arts (TLA).It I was up there as well with one of my favorite concerts. If you want to see hip hop’s next biggest star because I believe in the next 3-4 years he is headed there. you should check his set out. Also if you are into the rowdy hip hop mosh pits, then a Baby Keem concert/show is definitely for you.
The last person on my list is someone I haven’t seen in concert yet but want to is Doja Cat.
Born and raised in Los Angeles, she began making and releasing music on SoundCloud as a teenager. Her song “So High” caught the attention of Kemosabe and RCA Records, with which she signed a joint record deal at the age of 17, subsequently releasing her debut EP Purrr! in 2014.
After a hiatus from releasing music and the uneventful rollout of her debut studio album, Amala (2018), Doja Cat earned viral success as an internet meme with her 2018 single “Mooo!”, a novelty song in which she makes satirical claims about being a cow. Capitalizing on her growing popularity, her second studio album, Hot Pink (2019), reached the top 10 of the US Billboard 200 and spawned the single “Say So”, which topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart following the release of a remix featuring Nicki Minaj. This album was followed by Planet Her (2021), which spent three consecutive weeks at number 2 on the Billboard 200 and spawned the top 10 singles “Kiss Me More” (featuring SZA), “Need to Know” and “Woman”.

Doja Cat has received a Grammy Award, Guinness World Record, a Billboard Music Award, five American Music Awards, and three MTV Video Music Awards.
Doja Cat is one of the biggest artists in the world and she is changing the music industry. Doja Cat is bending and transforming what a rapper is and could be in the future for female and male artists.
Even if Kanye West isn’t going to be at Coachella 2022 check out Snoh Aalegra, Baby Keem & Doja Cat you wont be disappointed.
