The First Winter Storm Is Coming To The Area
The first winter storm could be on it’s way to the area.
According to Delawareonline.com, “A storm over the Southwestern United States was expected to move through the Rockies and across the central Plains on Monday before extending Thursday into the upper Midwest and possibly impacting the South in the latter part of the week, according to the National Weather Service in Mount Holly, New Jersey.”
The storm will bring heavy snowfall, strong winds, freezing rain, severe thunderstorms and the possibility of flooding and tornadoes some parts of the country.
But here is Delaware we are not expected to see any storm impact until Thursday, when heavy rain, strong winds and the possibility of snow will begin early in the morning.
I can already hear some of the groans coming from people already. Yeah another “rain storm” I’m proably not the only one that wanted a snow storm to come through the area so we can go sleding down Rockford Park.
Hopefully one day we can get another snowstorm like the one in February of 2010. I still remember that snow storm, I was off of school that day went to go sledding and them coming back home and just playing video games with my friends. I just one more of those snow storms to relive the memories.
