Italian Festival Is Here!!

This week and weekend in Wilmington is going to a great and fun time. If you haven’t heard or know already the St. Anthony’s Italian Festival is this week.

The festival is The region’s largest Italian-American festival! Plus, it Benefits St. Anthony of Padua Grade School with all the proceeds made going to the school. The festival offers a wide variety of delicious and authentic Italian food specialties.

The hours of the festival are

Monday-Friday, 6/13-17: 6-10:30PM

Saturday, 6/18: 4-10:30PM

Sunday, 6/19: 2-6PM

According to sapde.org it says, “Since 1972, features food vendors, live entertainment, children’s entertainment, midway, 6 outdoor cafes and over 30 vendors. Our schedule of entertainment is full of exciting, renowned performers all eight nights at each of our four outdoor stages by more than a dozen different entertainers.”

“The Festival offers a wide variety of delicious and authentic Italian food specialties. Experience a virtual tour of Italy during your visit by choosing a meal or snack in one of our many outdoor eateries. Throughout the years, St. Anthony’s has been proud to present the very finest in both traditional Italian and contemporary pop music. We recruit professional musicians from up and down the East Coast annually. Artists join us from New York City, Hoboken, NJ, Atlantic City, Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, and Baltimore–and from around the Eastern United States.”

So even if you aren’t Italian come on out to the festival and fun time you will not regret it.
