The Philadelphia Eagles Shine On Monday Night Football
Last night the Philadelphia Eagles put on a show for the ages.
The Eagles won in a blowout victory 24-7 against the Minnesota Vikings. “Jalen Hurts was in control on the ground (57 yards, 2 TDs) and through the air (26-of-31, 333 yards), while the Eagles’ defense frustrated Kirk Cousins & Co., coming away with three interceptions.”

According to an ESPN article, “Vegas has taken notice of Hurts. Hurts’ MVP odds moved from 14-1 to 8-1 at Caesars Sportsbook following Monday’s win. He is now the third favorite behind Josh Allen (+325) and Patrick Mahomes (+450). The big improvement has been Hurts’ passing. He was decisive and accurate with his throws against Minnesota.”
“Darius “Big Play” Slay lived up to the name he had five passes defensed and two interceptions, both in the red zone. He became the only player with five-plus passes defensed and two INTs in a game in the last three seasons.”

The 31-year-old reminded the world he remains one of the top cover corners in the NFL.
At first before the game, I was nervous and scared mainly because of Justin Jefferson. But after the game it was a surreal feeling, I’ve never seen an Eafles defense perfrom like that in a long time. Plus, I’ve never seen a cornerback like Darius Slay shut down a wide receiver like that in my whole life. Slay if he keeps it up this year could be the greatest season, we have seen from an Eagles defense player ever.
I know that a lot of Eagles fan are excited about the team now. But just hold your horses Eagles fans and lets not get too hype because it is still only week 2 and NFL for the most part is a week to week league and things change every week.
