URSULINE ACADEMY RECEIVES RECORD BREAKING DONATION
Ursuline Academy will be getting a complete renovation of its gymnasium and fitness center, thanks to a record-breaking five million dollar donation from real estate developer and philanthropist Anthony Fusco Senior announced this afternoon.
It is the largest single donation to the all-girls catholic school on Pennsylvania avenue in its 130-year history.
The seating capacity of the laffey mchugh gymnasium will be increased by 200 seats and the fitness center, to be named after Fusco, will receive new locker rooms, athletic offices, and other improvements.
Thanks to his generosity, Fusco’s name already adorns the athletic center and stadium at the Delaware military academy and he made an additional ten million donation to the athletic center at Salesianum.
