A Rain Storm Is Hitting Delaware This Christmas Weekend
Whelp people it’s time of the year again “Winter Storm Season”.
Couple weeks ago I talked about the “first winter storm” of the season which some snow but mostly rain. This time around it will be all rain.
According to delawareonline.com, “Gusty winds, chilly temperatures and slick roads look like the biggest problems on Friday after Thursday’s soaking rain throughout Delaware.”
“Snow is a possibility Friday, but only in northern New Castle County near Wilmington, said Mike Lee, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Mt. Holly, New Jersey.”
“Wet roads with some standing water could cause problems Thursday night and Friday morning, but as temperatures plunge throughout Friday, wet roads could turn icy.”
If you are out driving Thursday night & Friday be careful with the weather & the Christmas shopping because it will be hectic on the roadways.
