
Amazon to Partner with Wilmington Department of Parks and Recreation for Day of Community Service
Amazon employees will lead a clean-up of three city parks in Wilmington on Monday, August 16th
Wilmington, Del. – Amazon is partnering with the Wilmington Department of Parks and Recreation for a day of community service this Monday – August 16th.
Amazon employees from the new facility on Boxwood Road in Wilmington (which is nearing its opening) will be leading daylong clean-ups of three parks:
- Kirkwood Park
- William “Judy” Johnson Memorial Park
- Christina Park
As part of this day of community service, members of the Amazon Team at the Boxwood Road facility and Ian Smith, the Director of the Wilmington Department of Parks and Recreation will be available to the media at Kirkwood Park starting at 10:30 AM at Kirkwood Park.
