Bank of America Opens First Advanced Center in Delaware

Bank of America is celebrating the opening of its new Main Street-Newark Advanced Center, the first of its kind in Delaware, bringing state-of-the-art technology and design features as part of the high-tech, high-touch client experience. Located at 148 E. Main Street, this Advanced Center becomes one of six centers total in Delaware, in addition to 31 ATMs in the state.

A Bank of America Advanced Center is unlike any financial center you may have ever visited. Each center features a video concierge who directs clients to a dedicated room where they can have private and secure conversations with a banking specialist via videoconference. These specialists can provide personalized guidance to meet each client’s needs across banking, lending and investing.

Clients can complete routine transactions via state-of-the-art ATMs equipped with the latest technology, including bill denomination selection, ability to make credit card payments, and cardless access to accounts using a mobile device.

Bank of America is focused on supporting the health and safety of its teammates, while maintaining uninterrupted service for clients, ensuring reliable access to banking and investment services. The company is taking proactive steps to enhance cleaning procedures to limit exposure, including following guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), enforcing mandatory masks policies, and following local guidance on the number of clients permitted in financial centers at one time.

“Newark is a vibrant city on its way to becoming the scientific hub of the state. Our new center is just minutes away from the University of Delaware’s STAR Campus, where cutting edge medical and technological research draws individuals from across the country,” said Chip Rossi, Delaware Market President for Bank of America. “We are confident that Delaware’s Main Street-Newark location will offer the community a personalized, client-focused experience.”
